Love Is Dead is the third full-length from Chvrches. The Scottish synth-pop outfit worked with an outside producer (Greg Kurstin) for the first time, and David Stewart of Eurythmics and Matt Berninger of The National also contributed to the album. Glittering with huge synth melodies and vocals, Love Is Dead is the most "aggressively pop" effort from the band, and it's clear that Lain Cook, Martin Doherty and Lauren Mayberry are adjusting their focus to a larger, more mainstream audience. Not a bad move at all, check out "Miracle," "Get Out," and "My Enemy."
