K Alexi Shelby: Vertigo / U Get Down Vinyl 12"
Chicago's in the house! France's Technorama label kicks off their Classic Series right with this long overdue repress of two of timeless K Alexi jams. They've gone and selected two of the legendary house producer's most banging cuts kicking off with "Vertigo," a tough acid techno track taken from Shelby's classic and highly sought-after "All For Lee-Sah" 12". This is the real-deal Warehouse sound, a relentless acid groove that just don't quit. On the flip, "U Get Down" injects some funky disco samples into the mix, while still retaining that raw Chi-Town energy. Both of these tracks are tried and true classics and will certainly turn the party out.
