Fourth studio album from Philadelphia's Kurt Vile. Smoke Ring For My Halo was originally recorded in 2010 and showed Vile slightly cleaning up his characteristically lofi sound. It's a melancholic record with a side of pessimism, but the music provides a beautiful backdrop for Vile's introspective laments. Includes the songs: "Puppet to the Man," "Ghost Town," and "On Tour." Eleven tracks in all. Released by Matador.
