AOS’ latest 3-track EP finds the Detroit house provocateur on an italo-electro-boogie tip, teeing off with the pastiche sampler funk of “Less Pain” before moving into moodier territory with “Untitled.” The 8+ minute “One Of A Kind” sports a slinky acid line squelching over cinematic string swells and characteristically jacking rhythms. One of the more expressive joints to come out of Omar’s garage in a few years. Housed in glossy pic sleeve. Keep techno FXHE!! Recommended.
